Thursday Protest in Wisconsin tomorrow at 8 AM. join them?
Edited on Wed Mar-09-11 09:12 PM by Snoutport
Are they calling for a protest tomorrow before the House in Wisconsin can vote? I'm hoping there are so many people that they won't be able to get closer than a few blocks to the capitol!

They can't vote if there are so many people they can't get in!

Go on Badgers!! GIANT GROUP HUG AROUND THE CAPITOL! Stand in-between two people you like and hug like there is no tomorrow! for a really long time! I'll send you all a pizza!!!! Does Ian's do breakfast?

4. Be prepared do define victory realistically.
They have the political power to do this and have shown that they're willing to excercise that power. Don't assume that the bill can be stopped. The victory is in waking the public up and energizing an effective electoral majority.

5. The Koch Brothers will just buy catapults for the Repugs.
Really, I wouldn't mind seeing something like that.

6. don't forget the tunnel
that goes underneath the Risser building. That's how most of them get in.

9. I wish I could
I've been so sick all week, I have barely been able to get out of bed. I can't stop coughing and my voice is completely gone. Yesterday when the Dem Party called, I tried to answer the phone, and either I scared them with my whispering, or they couldn't hear me, because they hung up.

It certainly adds to my depression. The only days I've missed at the Capitol have been when I've been sick. I feel so useless here.
