Yesterday I read (and posted) that the bill to fine the missing senators had been returned to committee, which I hoped meant they wouldn't do anything about it, but today they voted on it.

GOP senators vote to start imposing fines on 14 missing Democrats

Senate Republicans Wednesday made good on their threat to sanction their missing Democratic colleagues, imposing a fine of $100 for each day of session they miss.

Republicans initially intended to have the fines take effect last Friday, but later pushed the effective date back. On Wednesday morning, the measure was approved unanimously without discussion and without being read aloud in the Senate chamber.

The move is largely symbolic, since there is only one planned legislative day remaining before lawmakers take a month-long break.

Both sides in the nearly month-long stalemate over Gov. Scott Walker's budget repair bill may also have more time to reach a solution than previously thought. In a memo Wednesday, the nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau said the state can still meet a deadline for restructuring its debt this fiscal year if it acts by April 15. Earlier estimates suggested the state had to act by March 16.

3. I honestly wouldn't
Governor Asshole would probably call some special session of the legislature.
