Two hours of Randi Rhodes and I'm totally fed up.
Two hours of scolding people for not voting last year. But I voted. I worked for the election like I always do. So why would I want to listen to her scold?

5. I did.
I used to listen to her, but I've been away for awhile. Thought maybe I was missing some brain food, but it was all scolding.

15. Have never really liked her.
Makes some good points. Find her to be too annoying.
Haven't listened to her in a very long time.

7. She has a right to her anger
2010 was not supposed to be a year where Democratic candidates rolled over and played dead, regardless of what Tim Kaine said.

9. Her listeners have all probably voted. It's those who aren't in tune with the goings-on
(& not listening) who need to be scolded. Spending two hours scolding those with interest in what our government does is not good form.

Besides, I'm skeptical about the election results, for what it's worth.

10. I listened to her today and she had a great show and she's right.
This is what happens when you don't vote.
She wasn't talking to you or I - she was talking to those that chose to stay home.

"Ohhh, she's too abrasive"
Kiss my ass.

Abrasive is what we need to wake people the fuck up.

Maybe if Al Gore was more "abrasive" in 2000 we wouldn't be in this fucking mess.
Maybe if John Kerry was more abrasive in 2004 we wouldn't be in this fucking mess.
Fuck POLITE.
POLITE WINS NOTHING.

20. THAT'S the spirit!
And sure, I get a little abrasive at times, but it's nothing personal - it's all about the mindset of winning. Because we can't effect the change we want to see in America - and have been waiting for since, y'know, 2000 - until we actually win. We may have to go Charlie Sheen on the teabaggers, and if that's what it takes, maybe that's not such a bad thing.

As long as you don't go sleeping with multiple porn stars and claiming you can cure alcoholism with your mind, that is. :hi:

14. What really bothers me about Randi is when someone calls in and disagrees with her.
She is just like Rush screaming over them, won't let the caller make their point.

And I really didn't need to hear about what she needs to do to fall asleep while Howard is out of town. WTF was that?
Tell it to your friends, but don't tell your entire listening audience.

21. what really bothers me is when someone calls in and agrees with her
and she doesn't understand they actually agree on the issue, and she does that same treatment. I heard that a few times and stopped listening to her show.

16. You still listening to her?
I guess she's still on the air & hasn't walked off the job lately. Used to be a fan, but she bad-mouthed a whole lot of people for no reason (including the person who was subbing for her when she mysteriously couldn't show up for work) & that was the final straw for me.

17. Stopped listening to her a while ago.
Too bad, she has a lot to offer in the way of information and perspective but too often, her abrasive personality gets in the way. She screams at and belittles those who often agree with her. And then there is the whole I - Me thing. No one loves Randi more that Randi. The name dropping and bragging about personal things only she cares about were my final straw. Thom Hartmann is smarter and much easier on the ears.

18. I agree.
I think Randi was good at articulating liberal anger a few years ago. But, I agree, eventually it became all about her.
