O'Keefe targets NPR
Conservative activist James O'Keefe, whose deceptively edited hidden camera videos* have made him a star on the right, is out with a new video targeting National Public Radio executive Ron Schiller - and by extension NPR itself.

The video purports to show Schiller speaking to a pair of men posing as representatives of a phony Muslim group called seeking to give $5 million to NPR. The men tell Schiller they are affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, the Islamist political movement.

It shows Schiller stating that the Republican Party and the Tea Party is "fanatically involved in people's personal lives and very fundamental Christian - and I wouldn't even call it Christian. It's this weird evangelical kind of move."

5. Ya know, ALL of this is designed for the 2012 elections...
...just like the Muslim community center outrage was designed for the 2010 midterms.

They suck donkeys...

6. Yes, one of these days he is going to mess with the wrong person
and end up beaten to a bloody pulp in an alley. While I know that would get him out of the fake journalism and character assassination business, it would get him into the martyr business and that's likely to be as unpleasant as it is lucrative for him.

Still, I want him gone and I won't shed a tear when it happens.

7. How can one political entity have so many ridiculous nuts who don't have one
hesitation about making fools of themselves?

Beck, Bachmann, Limbaugh, Hannity, Palin, Breitbart, O'Keefe, Coulter, Malkin, -
they all put themselves out there to be laughed at by thinking people
and they do it dirty - really down deep filthy dirty. No shame.

I'm thrilled with the NPR representatives.

If they would hire this guy back I would start contributing to them again.

10. So do I..
.... as soon as NPR stops getting Federal funding they can start working on being entirely listener-supported and stop pandering to the right wing.

15. first time through he had crediblity with DUers
a lot of DUers attacked acorn due to his doctored tapes. After it was so totally clear he heavily edits his material, daily show/Colbert style for maximum effect he lost all credibility. He's clearly a fraud himself, already twice now exposed as such. Yet for the MSM, particularly those in love with criminals such as Olly North and G Gordan Liddy, he is still a credible source of news. I think it shows how terrible American media is.

KO never gave this guy any respect and I credit MSNBC for blowing off what the other media pretended was a big story. I hope with him gone, the same is true of this "story".
