Libya, Gas Prices, and the Big Payday at Your Expense
Libya, Gas Prices, and the Big Payday at Your Expense

Image

We have the usual suspects looking for hot money. The fast-money types, as Moenning calls them, smell another victory in the air. Their market activity is driving prices in a self-reinforcing cycle of increases that are highly profitable when you get in and out at the right time (and if you pull the strings for the market, that's easy).

Everyone who benefits will raise prices because they can.

They have no concept of enough and there is nobody standing in their way.

1. Flipping the Oil among themselves to drive up prices.
Libya only supplies a couple of percent of production. These assholes need to go to prison.

2. They need to do some serious time
After all the bailouts and other socialist programs for the ultra rich, they're still pulling this
crap. Time for some serious prosecutions. If not now, then later but definitely some time soon.

3. Higher oil prices will make it too expensive to build cheap shit in China ...
... so I expect "Made in Mexico" labels to replace "Made in China" labels.

6. To Every Thing There Is A Season
And then there is an end. The rude pundit had a column today where he said if he was one of the rich ones he'd have a meeting with the others and tell them to cool it. There's something in the air and I bet there is a change of season coming.

8. I never thought I'd say this
...but the Rude Pundit is an optimist if he thinks that could happen (besides Buffett and Gates have done this already on inheritance tax, to no avail). Not for long, based on his excellent grasp of our current reality.

11. He Doesn't Think It Will But Should
if the richies were smart and looking after their own best interests because what is going to happen is that the so called 'barbarians' are going to storm the gate.

18. Or just ignore them
In either case, they're not behaving with any thought about the future and they're not capable of doing so based on their own self-deluded theories, j'espere.

17. Absolutely! > Options traders are betting more than ever...
that crude oil is heading to $200 a barrel as some websites call for a “Day of Rage” in Saudi Arabia and anti- government protests spread in the Middle East and North Africa.
