Talked to a retired Ohio teacher this morning and he is
backing Walker in Wisconsin. I don't know what the facts are in Wisconsin but he believes the stuff he hears on Fox. He said they don't pay nothing into their pension or health insurance. But he complained about that he had to pay $90 per month for health insurance for himself and $600 for his wife in Ohio. So there you go a teacher in Ohio complains his benefits suck but is jealous of what the teachers receive in Wisconsin. He also backs backs SB 5 in Ohio, seems now that he is retired he don't think teachers should be permitted to strike. What the f--- is wrong with the American people today everything is me me me.

taught for 35 years. But since he is retired screw the younger teachers his property taxes are too high already. I worked in a union shop myself and many of our retired workers have the same attitude
they will say when I started I only made $2.10 an hour and now they think you can still live on $2.10.

14. Bingo. Pure selfishness
I can tell you it's even worse if said retiree is even moderately wealthy. You'd think it would make them more comfortable and secure, but it only makes them even more spiteful. Obviously Fox news doesn't help..................

10. I like that but here you have a public employee from one state
that complains about his benefits and wants to screw someone in another state that he has been told by Fox gets better benefits. I see the same thing in the USW, it is mind boggling the number of union members that are anti-union for everyone but themselves. They are what is called Reagan Democrats.

12. My husband knows a retired firefighter here in Ohio who backs Kasich.

It's hard to fathom such a hateful mentality.

He thinks firefighters shouldn't be able to retire until age 65. The fact that he himself retired at 53 and is still receiving his pension 20 years later? Irrelevant.

16. "Permitted to strike"
he don't think teachers should be permitted to strike

The reason public employees have collective bargaining is because in most cases unlike private-sector employees they can't strike.
