"Jay, Manchin say Boehner blocking Capitol ceremony for WWI veteran Buckles"
http://www.wvgazette.com/News/201103031185

An AP story so I won't post the content.

World War I veteran Frank Buckles of Charles Town, WV, died the other day at 110 years of age, the country's last living WW1 veteran. Boehner can't even stop playing politics long enough to honor this good American citizen soldier. Boehner would name Veteran's Day Ronald Reagan day if he could, but he thinks an American veteran is unworthy of high honors.

3. If you check the record, you will see that Republicons often diss veterans
Republicons luv them to get wrapped up in the flag and pretend to be patriots, but then they crap all over the people who actually served.

It's disgustipating.

5. People Like Cry-Baby Boner are all Boner and no Balls at all.
Boner would have cried the Germans back to Germany if he'd been in the war. To the guys like Boner A veteran is just another used up thing/device for the junkyard.

6. I don't have a second source on this but anybuddy who disgraces a "buddy" has my ire.
My Daddy was a veteran of WWI. He was a "Buddy".

He was an Irish immigrant was made fun of because of his accent. This was a story I told the BUSD last night when I told them of a teacher that inspired us to purchase "American Tongues" for the City of Burbank so that all could know the prejudice of accents.

Any one who does not pay honor to those went, in those uncertain times, should receive shame.

BTW My Daddy was in the Navy and was deployed to the south was getting ready to ship out to Europe and the 1918 flu hit and the entire community was quarantined thru the armistice and hense ME.

My Mom and my Dad loved California. Their gravestone is framed by granite. Patriots both. I love them.

8. Your Dad sounds like a man I would have liked and respected.
I say there should always be room in OUR national Capitol for any patriot, living or deceased. It's not Boner's building...He never paid for it, he never fought for it and he's out of control. I guess Boner's still mad because the Germans lost that war.
