Stephen King writes novel about JFK killing
NEW YORK—Stephen King's next novel takes on a real-life horror story: The assassination of JFK.

"11/22/63," the title named for the day of President Kennedy's murder, tells of a high school teacher's desperate effort to prevent the tragedy. Scribner announced Wednesday that the 1,000-page book will come out on Nov. 8.

Will be interesting to see how he handles this....

2. I would not take that bet
He manages to put in references to that world in most of this books. I happen to like that aspect.

3. The ending won't depend on who did it and King is a master of leaving us hanging just a bit.
I'm a major, major SK fan; I know where I'll be Nov. 8! :bounce:

5. I recently read
Hearts in Atlantis. Does the Dark Tower series tie into that book somehow? TIA.

7. It does in Low Men in Yellow Coats...

the Low Men figure prominently near the end of the Dark Tower series.

Edit: and of course Ted Brodigan.

11. Thank you!
I haven't read any of Stephen King's books in years and had recently read Hearts in Atlantis and liked it very much. I don't know why I stopped reading his books. I will definitely check into this series as after I read the above I wanted to know more about Ted. I couldn't see how he could not write more about such an interesting character and his adventures with the Low Men, so I'm glad to hear he wrote more about them.

9. If it's a sequel to Christine...
"Bob, the evil limo convertible" is not a very catchy title.
