Oppose Voter ID

WHAT: Resolution to Oppose Voter ID at Eau Claire County Board meeting will be introduced and likely voted on

WHEN/WHERE: Tuesday March 1, 7 PM, EC County Courthouse, 721 Oxford St.

WHY: Show your support to EC County Board to vote yes on the resolution to oppose Voter ID.

Note: Public comments accepted for 30 minutes at beginning of meeting. Come early. Sign in. Speak briefly so more people can speak to support resolution. Students, elderly, disabled, rural, low income especially negatively affected by this proposed legislation for a problem that doesn't exist. PLEASE come and bring friends.

Candlelight Vigil at 7 p.m. Thursday at Phoenix Park

Demonstrate your opposition to Gov. Walker's plan for Wisconsin by attending the Thursday, March 3, Candlelight Vigil at 7 pm at Phoenix Park. Events like this help keep the pressure on Walker and the Republican Senators.

Contribute to State Senators

Many people have asked how they can contribute to Kathleen Vinehout and the other Democratic State Senators.

Here are two ways:

1. Write a check to "Voters for Vinehout" and mail it to P.O. Box 1274, Eau Claire, WI 54702.

2. Contribute on-line at Act Blue. Click on the link below.
