The Right-wing media ignores Wisconsin for one reason, fear...
and this is one fear the Right wing doesn't like. They fear it will spread. And THEY cannot control it.

Maybe it's time?

2. What's happening runs counterintuitive...
to their preconceived narrative of the proverbial "liberal".

While some of the right-wing idiots will attempt to write this off as nothing more than a mild disturbance, the true movement is clear.

We are mobilizing a force that the tea-partiers can only dream of. The rethugs can only sit on the sidelines and try not to act jealous. We are showing them what a true political movement looks like.

I can't think of anything more motivating.

5. Just like all the other authoritarians with power....
terrified of democracy. My contempt for these teabagger extremeists is getting increasingly hard to "just let go."

7. They will eventually have to cover it. I think we should
take the protests to the doorsteps of news organizations around the country.

9. Unfortunately
If the media is anything like it was in the 1960's during the anti-war protest they won't cover it until something bad happens. It won't really matter if it is the protesters or the authorities or provocateurs that start it but if violence were to erupt the news networks would be on it in a flash. On top of that you could be guaranteed that no matter who started it they would claim it was all the protesters fault.

10. It's an old, old tactic
The difference that I see, though, is that the networks and major media no longer have the exclusive control over video they used to have. Everyone has a video camera nowadays, and the means to put that video out instantaneously. The days when the forces of oppression could count on their control of the medium and message, and to credibly question, "Who can say who threw the first punch?" are over.

That's not to say that the attempt won't be made. But the possibility of full footage has more than once come back to bite the "official" story in the ass. The Rand Paul curb-stomping started off as a routine story about "disruptive" infiltrators. When the full video of the incident came out - while it didn't derail Paul's campaign as it should have - the story quickly submerged.

11. this is where the internet comes in. this is what happened in other countries
that the leaders couldn't control. that is why they want to control the internet.... muffle any voices. they can black it out on tv, but the internet... that is a different story.

The old days when they could just carbon copy all Nazi speeches and watch them work.
