"I WOULDN'T WIPE MY ASS" with the Koch Bros.
As it has been pointed out by many hear and elsewhere, the Koch Bros own Georgia-Pacific. Listed among there most nationally recognized brands are there sanitary paper lines (aka toilet paper), Angel Soft, Sparkle, and Quilted Northern. It has been suggested that a boycott of these products should be launched.

I agree with this call to arms and would like to suggest a rallying cry that is sure to catch a few eyes and ears, as well as express our true feelings towards the Koch Bros. and there intentions.

Over the years, there have been many times that I have expressed my feelings towards people and organizations using such terms. Be it some publication, politician, or public figure, it was always used as a youthamism; not that I had actually considered using a magazine or a person as a "butt-wipe". The last thing I wanted was a literal "Chapped Ass".

But now I can firmly say, both literally and figuratively, that "I WOULDN'T WIPE MY ASS WITH THE KOCK BROS. OR THEIR PAPER PRODUCTS!

And to those who may have also had the same thought, great minds think alike. And for that, you can thank a teacher.

1. Negative proof of union heavyhandedness
is that they haven't and probably won't organize a boycott of said products.

3. I wouldn't be too sure about that.

The biggest problem most people have had with pursuing purse string politics as a means of fighting Koch Industries is that most people don't know what they actually sell on the market. The more people who are made aware of what they sell, the more people will take matters into their own hands, and in their own homes and work places.

I'm sure that larger organizing bodies like public/private unions could help to expedite such a boycott by providing a detailed product list to their members via mass email and hand bill campaigns, but it is on forums like this that actually "make the grass grow" where movements like this take form these days.

4. I think Brawny towels are on that list also.
I am officially no longer buying Brawny nor Quilted Northern.

I do like good paper products, but I buy on sale and with coupons if possible. The cheap stuff is so cheap you have to use more of it and doesn't work as well...

6. They also make lycra.

Unless you're like me, who buys almost all my clothes 2nd hand, it's pretty hard to avoid buying clothing with lycra. Especially if you're a woman, and especially if you are athletic.

I figure it doesn't count if I buy it from a thrift store or from a garage sale.
