February 26, 2011- Record anti-Walker rally turnout at the Madison Capitol Square

It was by far the absolutely largest crowd to rally in Madison. Without even looking at other sources who would estimate the numbers, it was at least 80,000 people or more that came out in the frigid, snowy weather to rally their support for public union workers and against Koch Brothers errand boy Scott Walker and his union-busting tactics and war on the poor, the elderly and eventually those who even voted for him. There were zero Tea Party people bussed in. Andrew Breitbart was nowhere to be found.

At the bus stop on the way there:

Down at the rally!

1. How I admire these happy protesters!
Out in the cold and snow, standing together for a greater purpose.

May every single person out there today be blessed!

3. These are great pictures!
Love the firemen group picture & the dog with the "Bury the bill! I'll dig!" message.

I like both signs in the second picture & the "Do only Democrats compromise?" sign in photo #7.

I can't believe anyone would want to deny health care and basic rights to people who would risk their own lives to run into a burning building to save others.

Or police officers who risk their lives too when they have to rescue people from bad domestic situations or robberies, etc.

These brave men and women are every bit as much as heroes as the military.

And I'd gladly take them over the asshole Kotchs, Walkers, Bushes Trumps, and Boners of this world any day.

6. Walker thought he was smart when he exempted firemen & law enforcement from
any cuts. He knew he'd need them to do his bidding against the more vulnerable union workers, but it backfired on Walker when both groups refused to go along. It's all about solidarity & looking out for each other. :)

7. Walker isn't human. He's a psychopath.
And he has no idea what human emotions are. He can't comprehend solidarity and caring about others. So yeah, I don't think he was expecting that.
