A piece of healthcare history of Public vs Private coverage....
I'm getting so sick and tired of the misconceptions and misinformation out there over public employee unions and how the right keeps stating how public employees must be treated like private company employees.

Here's a little history.....

In the area I'm from, most of the time I was growing up, Caterpillar employees had 100 percent health COVERAGE. Not insurance, COVERAGE. Anyone who worked for Caterpillar was envied for that and the wages their employees were paid. Guess who was lagging behind? Yes, public employees and their coverage.

Over the last ten years or so Caterpillar employees have now had to pay more and are now probably on par with this areas public employees and their health care costs.

But not according to these fools.
