So what will the next excuse to bail out the rich be?
It's a growing and continuing trend that will never stop in my opinion.

"Global economic Disaster", "Double-Dip Recession", etc.

My guess is big business is going to really crank up their outsourcing plans by expanding manufacturing overseas with tax payer subsidies and tax breaks to "help create more jobs at home" and "help American companies stay in business in a global economy".

One day in my lifetime I'm sure Walmart is going to want their tax payer subsidies and tax breaks using the "Too big to fail" playbook.

3. So, you're predicting the status quo
Continued corporate profit by exploitation of the Many by the Few.

Safe bet that the Power Elite are so blinded by greed that they continue to add to a card house built on a foundation of submission. The thing about card house is, at some point a fly landing on the brings them crashing down.

5. Walmart is one of the reasons that the
Guidelines for Food Stamps was opened up.

It used to be (here is California anyway) that if you worked at a job, any job at all, you could not qualify for Food Stamps.

But without Food Stamps and County paid Medical insurance, the workers at Walmart would not be able to continue being alive, as they are paid so poorly.

So the Big Box store saw to it that we the taxpayers foot the bill for them to pay people so poorly.

PS. I do not mean this as an attack on people who are using Food Stamps or County paid medical to stay alive. I do mean this as an attack on our system of government - which carefully avoided a prime opportunity to have Universal Single Payer HC, and to have a decent living wage in place. In Europe, especially Scandinavian countries, Walmart style operations are forced by government mandate to give their workers a decent life. here it becomes the responsibility for the tax base to keep workers alive.

6. My cousin lost her food stamps when my aunt and uncle helped her get a used Toyota
Her old car kept breaking down everywhere with her and her kids and was costing a fortune. My aunt and uncle gave her about $2000 toward the purchase and co-signed the $190 a month loan.

Can't remember exactly why she lost her much needed food stamps but it was something like, "if you can afford car payments" and "too many assets".
