I saw it happen, went back to freeze-frame it and couldn't believe my eyes... this doesn't seem like something the show itself would do.

Did the cable system or someone else tamper with it?

It doesn't come out well in this shot I took of my TV, but his face was distinctly green. The black 'makeup' is of a big handle-bar moustache, narrow goatee, thick arched eyebrows, and black around his eyes leading to a flared design on his temple. Supposed to be demonic looking? Lasted for just one frame. For others who want to check it out, this is at about the 10-minute point of the show, when he is shown listening to the guest.
