WINNIPEG — Canadian singing sensation Maria Aragon wowed Ellen DeGeneres and earned a standing ovation from the talk-show host's audience in an episode that aired Tuesday.


Aragon, 10, appeared on Ellen less than a week after Lady Gaga praised the Winnipeg girl's rendition of Gag's song Born This Way.


Lady Gaga's comment on Twitter propelled Aragon's YouTube video singing into Internet celebrity, receiving more than 10 million hits.


Aragon told DeGeneres, in an episode taped Monday, that she was inspired to cover Born This Way because of the song's positive message.
