should Gov Walker learn from Obama about compromise?

He said we criticize Obama when he compromises with the Repugs and wish that he wouldn't. Now we are criticizing Gov Walker for not compromising and wish that he would.

I had no comeback for him on this. It really is interesting to ponder.

right time for compromise and when it's time to dig in their heels. FDR did both, but he did it because the people pushed him too. Neither Walker nor Obama seem to pay much attention to what the people want.

The president has treated the opposition respectfully even in the face of them openly saying their aim is to cause his administration to fail, and to be saddled with the blame for many problems caused by the policies the Republicans are pushing.
