BBC: Col. Gaddafi knocked off State TV
0007: Interview with Col Gaddafi now running on Libyan TV.

0008: Almost as soon as Col Gaddafi appeared on the screen he disappeared. State TV now showing partiotic images of marching soldiers and playing Arabic music.

Doesn't sound like GAddafi has a firm grip on the organs of power. Also, doing your interview at Midnight sounds like an odd time for broadcasting.

No audio - picture cut out 2 secs later

This was on Al Jazeera English a little while ago. Introduced as breaking news from Libyan State TV.

This just in : your leader is completely mental.

3. The irony of this all....
...this dictator was worried what the US did Iraq, might eventually happen to him....not once did he think about his own people giving him the boot.
