So come Monday morning when the imported Tea Party thugs are still in Wisconsin...
Clearly I can say to these people: "What, don't you work?"

2. Hope someone does ask that question of all of them.
I expect the answer will be, nope, we're on (fill in the blank)--Social Security, Medicare (both of which they want to take away from me and a few million others), SSI, collecting unemployment and food stamps (which they favor taking away from those who most need it), out on parole, too stupid to know what the hell I'm doing here, or--well, there are many blanks that can be filled in. Sadly, it's too late to fill in the blanks in that part of their brains that enables them to think/reason/form an intelligent sentence.

Solidarity, peace and blessings.

UNION!

3. It goes both ways, I've heard reports of out-of-state union workers also in attendance. nt

8. I just heard of out-of-state union workers Saturday being at the protest.
So more than likely they will be back to work on Monday. Unless, they have a contract that gives them Monday off.

4. A better question would be.
Why are you against worker protection laws that have allowed you to have the weekend off?

10. Not every worker has Monday off even with a labor union contract.
Possibly more likely for government union workers.

no, my husband is not having Monday off... they don't deliver, but they do process it.

Just saying, not everybody has the day off.

13. If they have President's Day off, they're likely to be goverment employees
or Banksters, Banks are closed on Goverment holidays. Most of the private sector they love so much doesn't take President's Day off.

15. Speaking of them
did Joe the Plumber ever show up? I wanted to hear the Plumber's union's reaction to him. Though to be honest after that one debate I could go for never hearing his name again. I swear I was half tempted to vote for whichever one promised to never mention him again.
