7. I just came home from there and my estimate is 1 in 10
is a teapartier. I am not very good at estimating the total, and a lot of people are coming and going, but believe me, they were in the minority and they have already left.
9. SEIU crowd estimate today was 70,000 to 100,000
with 1,000 to 3,000 of them teabaggers. I saw this on facebook and repeated here (somewhere) but I don't have a link. My niece is there with a group of teachers and she said that sounded about right.
CNN is about as reliable as Fox these days. They said it was 50/50.
10. I don't think it could possibly have been that many people.
There were 80K people here for the John Kerry rally in 2004 and that was wall to wall people all around the Capitol and for four city blocks in one direction. You couldn't move there were so many people.
It was easy to move today and it wasn't that hard to park, even downtown. Sorry, but I dont' think it could possibly have been more than 30-40K today.
