What I learned today on CNN about the WI protesters
Edited on Sat Feb-19-11 03:53 PM by senseandsensibility
There are two equal sides protesting and both are very passionate. There is no difference in the sizes of the opposing sides, at least not a difference worth actually mentioning. The WI protesters are pampered. And most importantly, the WI protesters are in it for the confrontation. They are not interested in giving up anything financially. They should be more like the "good" teachers in upstate NY, who are co-operating and making concessions.

Only problem....none of these "facts" are true.

4. That would be a good idea
All Dem governors, especially, should be saying that. Why aren't they?

7. some like JErry brown have said they wont do that, but as part of a statement together
meant for the public and media and in support of the protestors . maybe we can contact the governors to do this.

including any republican governorswho might support it though i can't think of any.

3. What would you expect from the Corporate News Network, continually
propagating its false equivalency memes so as to breed despair and ennui among the working class (whose numbers far outweigh those of the pluto- and technocracies)?

Rhetorical question, I know, but this is the same MSM that enabled the crimes of Bush for 8 long years.

5. The corporate media must continue to catapult the propaganda...
otherwise people might actually have a clue what is going on and they might think that they could be next.

9. CNN should be ashamed of itself.
it's just disgusting. i don't believe you would find the coverage much better on msnbc however. i've only got the computer and have spent the day searching for the latest. it has been really hard to get news, especially about what is actually going on.

10. I haven't watched CNN in years
but someone on GD called their coverage "liberal" this morning so I tuned in. After waiting through what seemed like hours of fluff on fashion models. this is what I saw.
