7. I don't know but Wisconsin has its share of stormtrooper types
George Lincoln (former head of US Nazi Party) was from the Milwaukee area.

The Posse Comitas (progenitor of the John Birch Society/Teabaggers types of racist reactionary fascists)originated in Mauston, WI.

Tailgunner Joe McCarthy was from Appleton, WI.

So there is no shortage of these knuckledraggers spawned in Wisconsin.

Interesing factoid. The original capitol for the state was in Watertown, WI. So heavy is the Eastern European influence felt there that they spoke German on the streets of Watertown until WWII broke out. When I voted in the 1976 Presidential election, it was in a 1-room school house in the Town of Burke, on Hwy 19, west of Madison in Dane County. I walked in the door and was met with a group of farmers in overalls, speaking in German with one another. 1976.

Just sayin' there is a strong element of conservative, racist, god-fearin' wingnuts in Wisconsin.

As you no doubt will hear if you drill down into this story, Madison is considered a foreign outpost to the rest of the state and the butt of jokes ala Berkeley out here on the left coast.

I'm happy to be corrected, if anyone can prove me wrong.

Hands off my Social Security!
Hands off Latin America!

15. False. Only 1000 to 3000 baggers showed
and the crowd was estimated today at 70,000 to 100,000. The Baggers were clustered together.

22. A local (to Madison) Fox station yesterday reported "hundreds"
Didn't say how many hundreds.

One DUer said it looked to be about 150.

Those are the only figures I've seen.

12. Didn't Walker make a snide remark in his speech yesterday?
He said that he wasn't sure all the protesters were even from WI. (As if people outside WI are not allowed to support the WI public workers.) Now it's OK to bring in outsiders to support their side? What a douchebag!!

Yet you are licking their taint, Scotty,

and you accept their money, allow them to set up shop and influence all the elections in Wisconsin.

Some consistency there Scotty.
