2. Yeah, it feels a little like that.
However, this is just getting started. Winning is going to be a long, concerted effort that must be sustained.

It is worth it, considering the stakes now. Peaceful protest and solidarity are very important. Perhaps participating less in our support of the Corporate Occupation, amongst other activities, will also help this unavoidable struggle.

7. I'm thinking of the Czech spring - things looked so wonderful for
a brief moment in January,then everything everywhere went to Hell. In April King was shot, in June, Bobby. Then the tanks entered Prague in August and Nixon got elected n November.

At least for the moment, things in Egypt look promising.

6. What's missing this time is a super popular liberal personality to help spread the love.
In 1968, you had that in spades. You have the same level of frustration and energy, but without a clear leader.
