If Walker were governor of PA, the state workers would not be allowed to protest...
State workers here in PA are forbidden by law from engaging in political demonstrations or any public political act beyond voting. We were told that even political bumperstickers on your car or signs in your window could be cause to fire you.

And we just got a new GOP governor and most of our state legislature...and Senator Pat Toomey! ;(

1. are you sure it's not just a ban on partisan activity?
my dad was a federal employee and couldn't publicly support any partisan candidate-Hatch Act
