What would happen if all public workers that
are Union members went on strike across the whole country?

1. That's a good question, but I was wondering if that could go negative on
public opinion. There is such a spin machine these days ... I guess it all depends on how it plays out in WI over the next couple of days.

3. That'd be
Cops, teachers, sanitation workers, public transportation, road crews(snow removal) and how many others. If the Republicans in the House can shut down the government, how about the workers shutting down the country?

You never miss someone until they are gone.

11. Will there be a new Calvin Coolidge
who fires all the striking cops in Boston and becomes a celebrity and then President? Or Ronald Reagan who fires the air traffic controllers.

Will there be a governor who fires any teacher who stays on strike?

And how will public opinion treat that?

That will be the place of the real fight.

12. It's a definite turning point. If this fails, then I possibly see a domino effect across the
states as others feel they can run rip shot over 'we the people.' This is a fight we must win for 'we the people.' This will extend into all parts of employment, it will not stop with the unions. Employees will be marginalized in all types of jobs, union or not. It will set a precedent for employer-employee relations. I wish more Americans saw the big picture of what is going on, that this extends far beyond unions.

2. We are not at the wild cat strike stage YET
Strikes like that, given that contracts are individual, would be wild cat.

We would call that a national strike
:-)

I suspect we are not there YET.

We may very well see regional strikes now... and that must be really scaring the living daylights of the elites.

10. I suspect if the National Guard goes over to the people
that counts as a revolution. I hope this happens.
