Seems To Me The Next Thing The People Of Wisconsin Should Do......
is go on strike. Walk out on all public employee jobs. Bus Drivers, City Workers, Trash Collectors, School Teachers, Police, Firemen, etc. Basically shut the state down and let the Repugs and the Governor figure out how to handle the situation. A complete work stoppage. They should be joined by restaurant workers, hotel workers - anybody that is associated in any way, shape or form with a union. And the students all over the state should stop going to school and join in the stoppage. Just stay home or go to the Capitol in Madison and if you can't get to Madison - go to the most visible place in the city or town that they live in.

Again - as it was in Egypt - the people outnumber the elected officials. This would bring the elected officials (the Repugs and the Governor) to have to back off or back down from their plan.

The people need to show these tyrants that they are not going to take it any more.

I'm wondering how many of those people out there that are protesting tonight voted for this idiot Walker.

Voters remorse has to have set in.

Walker is only sealing his and his party's fate with this underhanded move they are making. The voters now know what they are dealing with and these people will never have a shot at a elected seat again.

Go you people of Wisconsin. Lead the way. Give workers all over this country a roadmap as to how to beat these tyrants.

3. Effectively it's been done for non mission critical matters
and in Egypt the fire service did not just go home either, or for that matter EMS.

4. Yeah, we were just talking here, wondering how many people that voted for
him love what they're getting. This is what people like Walker fear, there are far more of us than them. Also, they work for us. A massive protest as you discussed would wake a lot of them up.

5. Would recommend they check their contracts first to make sure there's not a "no strike" clause -
- or we could have a replay of the Air Traffic Controllers strike, believe was in the early 1980's. Especially in this environment where so many qualified persons are out of work, being replaced won't be a problem.

10. Work to rule - strike without walking out
The best strike is when everybody comes to work, follows all the rules to the letter, and nothing gets done. Not nearly as much that they can do then.
