2. I may be wrong but it looks like mom is feeding it now
well, some bird has it's back to the camera and is doing something I can't really see

just an assumption she is feeding a young-ling

5. That's the baby.
Phoebe has already flown off and come back to feed it, and flown off again to get more food.

3. You should have a BirdCam.
These things are so cool. I have six of them, but not all are BirdCam. Two of them detect heat and I get cougars, coyote, deer, all kinds of animals.

6. Anything affordable?
I have always wanted to point one in the backyard to see what shows up at night.

8. Here is the best one available.
BirdCam 2.0 (w/motion detector)

http://www.wingscapes.com/birdcameras/birdcam-20

They are around $200, but I can get them wholesale (about half of that price). These things are basically indestructible and will run for weeks on a few batteries, depending on setting(s).

I plan on ordering a few more so I can catch our vineyards in growth. If you want me to order one for you, I will gladly send it to you via whatever means available. You might want to look at the original BirdCam, as it is half the price. But the 2.0 kicks butt.

Happy birding.

I have a pet hummingbird (an Anna) that follows me around like a dog.

11. They just moved the cam for a closeup.
Keep your fingers crossed that Phoebe comes back to the nest to lay eggs. She hasn't yet at this writing.

15. Thanks!
Up in the Catskills, we used to get a lot of hummingbirds. We'd watch them from the window.
