LOL Boehner's statement on Wisconsin accuses White House of spreading misinformation re: Walker
“Republicans in Congress -– and reform-minded GOP governors like Scott Walker, John Kasich and Chris Christie –- are daring to speak the truth about the dire fiscal challenges Americans face at all levels of government, and daring to commit themselves to solutions that will liberate our economy and help put our citizens on a path to prosperity. I’m disappointed that instead of providing similar leadership from the White House, the president has chosen to attack leaders such as Gov. Walker, who are listening to the people and confronting problems that have been neglected for years at the expense of jobs and economic growth.

According to news reports, the White House has even unleashed the Democratic National Committee to spread disinformation and confusion in Wisconsin regarding the governor’s courageous actions. I urge the president to order the DNC to suspend these tactics. This is not the way you begin an ‘adult conversation’ in America about solutions to the fiscal challenges that are destroying jobs in our country.

Rather than shouting down those in office who speak honestly about the challenges we face, the president and his advisors should lead. Until they do, they are not focusing on jobs, and they are not listening to the American people who put them in power.”

7. How very distressing
And after all the Obama White House has handed the Weeper of the House, for him to turn like that is just very distressing. I guess there's nothing for it but for the president to try to make even nicer with Mr. Boehner. Hopefully someday he'll return the favor! They can only try, try again.

11. Maybe the President can invite him over to the White House and bounce Boner on his lap for a while
Wipe his tears, give him a nice pacifier and maybe change his diaper? That ought to make the big crybaby happy, no?

16. ummmm..let me get this straight, John...
Edited on Thu Feb-17-11 04:55 PM by Volaris
when people take to the streets in an effort to redress grievances with the Government, that is --OK-- if those people happen to agree with you, and then they are true patriots. But when people take to the streets to redress grievances with the Government, and those people DON'T agree with you, WELL then, they are just "spreading disinformation", is that what you called it? No, John, that IS what you called it. And its what a protest looks like when people show up of their own volition, rather than having to hitch a ride on board the Sponsor's bus.

The reason they are afraid of actual Democracy breaking out in the middle east is because Americans might remember what it looks like when they see it...
Can't have that, now can we?

If John were any more in over his head, he would be doing handstands in Tienanmen Square.
