Shawna Forde.. Guilty 2 counts of murder

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD)- We have late-breaking news from Pima County Superior Court.

Jurors have found border activist Shawna Forde guilty of two counts of first degree murder.

The jury got the case late Thursday afternoon and deliberated all day Friday and came in with their verdict just before noon Monday.

Prosecutors had argued Forde was the mastermind behind a home invasion in Arivaca in May 2009.

29-year-old Raul Flores and his 9-year-old daughter Brisenia were killed in that home invasion and the girl's mother was wounded.
