Razing Arizona: Gov. Jan Brewer Sues Federal Government
With a budget deficit at $2 billion and draconian cuts at hand, Arizona officials this week decided to do something both drastic and ordinary to raise some cash: They sued deep pockets for goods, services, and money. That's right, on behalf of their beleaguered constituents, but ever true to their dubious views of constitutional authority, the increasingly litigious Governor Jan Brewer, and her attorney general Tom Horne, sued the United States of America for allegedly violating its duty to defend the Grand Canyon state from invasion. What, you didn't know that Arizona has been invaded?

4. Ole Jan won't go after the employers though...
You know the ones that hire low wage workers....she could go after the employers even if they weren't in her state....but wait....that will never happen.

5. Public services in Arizona are absolutely decimated and we are being led by
an absolutely clueless, political opportunist, buffoon.

I'm at my wit's end. I grew up here, I love the desert, I have a lovely home and my son is entering high school in September--and I'm seriously thinking of getting out. th political climate here is that vile.

7. You survived Fife the Clown.
Now, just survive Jan the Jester. This will pass, politics is a self correcting business. After past republican excesses at the state level, your state was led by democrats. Brewer and her numb-skull AG most likely will herald in democratic leadership, potentially for ever, given changing demographics in Arizona.
