GOP 2012 presidential candidates. And the scariest is …
Circus clowns and carnival freak shows have always frightened me. It’s why I find the Republican wingnuts thinking about running for president to be so terrifying.

Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Haley Barbour, Rick Santorum, Michelle Bachmann … and many others like them. Can we add Hannibal Lector and Freddie Kruger to the list?

But what I find most terrifying is that one of these creatures might actually get nominated and end up winning. Yeah, I know it's unlikely. But how likely was it that Saint Reagan would get elected – twice. And how likely was it for Bush Jr. to steal it – twice.

I’m not looking forward to 2012. How about you?

4. I always like big election years

2012 will be very interesting to see what happens. Who the GOP candidates are, and who wins. The presidential election should be a good one, it might be very close.

I'll be curious to see how the Democrats do in the elections all around, both presidential and congress.

13. Hahaha.......
Let us all be made to suffer so that we can have a giant block party!
Been there, done that. Ain't stupid enough to do it again, with hopes
that somehow, the "elected" Republican will be shamed out of office a la Egyptian.
It wouldn't happen that way.....and since we really didn't do shit when the election
was literally stolen in 2000, what makes you think that this time it would be
any different? Especially if this time the election is stolen via United Citizen
money and aided by Cynical Liberals portraying themselves as waiting for another "revolution".

8. Not Even A Little Bit Scared
They don't have a single adult in the room. Every one of them will scare the pants off of everyone but the wackiest of the wack-job right.

Plus, I think too many people are drinking the anti-Obama Kool Aid the media has been serving. You'd think that Obama was hated by just about everyone. But it just ain't so. Obama's STILL got an approval rating ABOVE 50%. Despite a 24/7 assault on his presidency by every media outlet in the nation. What was Bush's approval rating when he got elected a second time? HALF that?

Trust me, we've got absolutely NOTHING to worry about. I don't see a single name on that list that would even present a challenge. Most of them wouldn't even get 100 electoral votes.

Just think about this: you run John McCain against any one of those names above and he wipes the floor with them. Why? Because he's probably the most electable Republican they've got right now. And you saw what Obama did to him.

10. Racist CRACKERS Gingrich and Barbour don't have a chance
They will be hammered.

The other boneheads will show their idiocy (Palin, Bachman, Sanitaryrum) and burn their own campaigns to the ground.

We need to just keep revealing the flip-flops of Mountain Meadows Mitt and he will be toast too.

the way the media is and the percent of electronic voting machines we have I don't see anything good coming down the pike either

When the state of Oklahoma went to vote counting machines we've had the likes of jim inhofe and coburn and nichols whose gone now but still. I wonder if the machine have anything to do with it because in our local races' county commissioners, court clerks, etc. many time there will be not republicans on the ticket so many times the election would be over at the democratic primary. We switch to electronic voting machines and first it was to get us senate in the pukes hands and now its filtering down to the local level. We're had a big influx of people this last couple decades so that may be whats shorting our wires out though. But I more inclined to believe its the counting machines. The fee for challenging an election last i checked was done precinct wise to the tune of a couple three thousand bucks. Hell there aren't that many people in my district to afford to do that and if everyone else didn't recount too then it would be all for naught. The deck is stacked against up bigtime.

Add: I want to thank the persons for the lovely hearts. Just something about a heart that says something that no words can convey
