Out all the countries Mark Twain visted in ' the Innocents Abroad' he liked Egypt
and the Egyptians the most.

I just finished the audio book and out all the places he visted
in the middle east and Palestine.... Egypt and Egyptians weres his favorite

The Innocents Abroad, or The New Pilgrims' Progress is a travel book by American author Mark Twain published in 1869 which humorously chronicles what Twain called his "Great Pleasure Excursion" on board the chartered vessel Quaker City (formerly USS Quaker City) through Europe and the Holy Land with a group of American travelers in 1867.

It was the best selling of Twain's works during his lifetime and one of the best selling travel books of all time.

2. I got bored when he was in the Holy Land
and I think he did too but that's what the American public
wanted to know about.

In fact after thinking about it that portion was almost as boring as the bible so maybe that's why the writing at that point was so dry and lame with none of the usual Twain humor......... irony..... damn Twain... I didn't get it until right now.
