Al Gore TV
Since Olberman has signed up with Al Gore's station, I want to watch Olberman. What channel is it on?

3. This station used to be News World International (NWI)
before Al Gore bought it. NWI was broadcast by CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corp) and it was a mix of news from other nations (Britain, Japan, Germany, etc) and mini documentaries and news out of Canada. God I miss NWI! It was Channel 366 on DirecTV.

Then Al Gore bought it and announced it would be apolitical and dedicated to showcasing new, young musicians. Current TV was abysmal when contrasted with its former life as NWI. After a short time DirecTV dropped it, and I didn't miss it.

Now it seems, Mr Gore has reversed his thinking about his television network and wisely decided to turn it into a badly needed beacon of light for the left. Considering Al Gore's interests he should also be using the station to get across his environmental message.

7. Here I thought I was the only one who preferred NWI to Current TV
I was appalled to see a well done international news source replaced by the "content" of Current. Hopefully, Olbermann will mark the start of a different direction.

4. Channel 142 in L.A. (Time Warner Cable).
It's kinda sad. That idiot knuckle-dragger "Mission Accomplished" cheerleader lester holt seems to be one of the lead anchors on MSNBC now. That probably would have been Olbermann in another time.
