It has been over a month now and I know of no "job creating" Bill put forth by Republicans.

1. I don't think they ever had anything
How long will the Americans who they claim to have "listened to" be silent on this?

WHERE ARE THE JOBS?

4 weeks and - nothing.

3. The only thing I see Repugs doing
is increasing the unemployment numbers by repealing new laws that create jobs.
Health Care - those corporate insurers will need more staff to deal with the new "clients"
Abortion Repeal - no more clinics no more jobs.
and so on.
Repeal = unemployment

14. Well sure. That's where all the jobs come from.
And we're so lucky when we get one.

6. How can you say that?
After all they repealed the "job killing government take-over of health care".

Plus, even before they took office, last December they forced the President and Democrats to back down on a "job killing tax hike".

And ALREADY unemployment has fallen to 9%.

9. You are right, they were claiming Credit for declining unemployment before they were even sworn in.
They are really really good. We should see unemployment rates drop in half in the next month..

16. By their logic
Edited on Fri Feb-11-11 12:13 PM by Proud Liberal Dem
repealing ACA is supposedly supposed to bring back to life all of the jobs that it's supposedly killed (or is killing). Of course, they only just had a successful vote in the house. It crashed and burned in the Senate when the GOP finally got a vote on it and, with even Blue Dogs refusing to support its repeal, all of their efforts to do so will be doomed to failure because it will NEVER get signed into law by President Obama let alone make it through the Senate and there is insufficient numbers in both chambers to override its veto. The "earliest" that anybody would be able to do anything about it is 2013 and that's only if the Republicans control all three branches. Although, even then it might be a difficult sale because it will have been in effect for 2 years and by then more people will be aware of its benefits (and feeling them personally) and support for repeal will presumably be "lower" (although most components of the law poll very well in general) than it is now IMHO.
