Rick Santorum-Sarah Palin Truce? Santorum Blames ‘Shoddy Journalism’ On Spa
Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum seemed to be heading toward a truce with Sarah Palin on Thursday, once again saying that “shoddy journalism” was to blame for this week's friction between the two potential presidential candidates.

Palin and Santorum traded barbs over the past few days. At issue was Palin’s decision not to attend this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference -- a choice that Santorum appeared to blame on Palin’s desire to get paid for her speaking engagements.

“They took things I said out of context and, in fact, not just out of context but they implied things that I meant when clearly I didn’t,” Santorum told ABC News in an interview at the conference. “I think it’s shoddy journalism no one called me on it, no one asked me what I meant and to my knowledge they didn’t ask the interviewer about it.”

2. Why shouldn't there be a truce?
I mean, what better companion for Palin than the frothy mixture of feces and anal lube resulting from vigorous anal sex?

3. Talking of 'shoddy journalism' - that ABC headline should read "*for* Spat"
"Santorum Blames ‘Shoddy Journalism’ On Spat" means there was a spat, and it caused shoddy journalism. What Santorum was claiming should be said as "Santorum Blames Spat On ‘Shoddy Journalism’". Or, as it said in the article, 'saying that “shoddy journalism” was to blame for this week's friction'.

This doesn't stop Santorum being a whining coward who won't even face up to a failed, half-term quitter. But he is right that there's such a thing as shoddy journalism.

4. As I understand it from what I saw reported about the story
the article did use the word implied and unless Santorum is lying, which I admit is entirely possible, and the author didn't get verification from Santorum then that was questional journalism. A journalist should be expected to understand the difference between implied and inferred which it seems is what occured. It is understandable when a normal person, say on an internet blog, gets the two confused but a professional journalist should know better.

5. ...
“I will not call him the knuckle dragging Neanderthal that perhaps others would want to call him,” Palin said of Santorum, “I’ll let his wife call him that instead.”

Always-classy-Sarah finally gets one right. With all the filth she spews about people it was bound to happen eventually.
