DU help please. Was Governor John Kasich's dad a union member?

I might be wrong but I think Kasich's dad was a union mail carrier. John grew up in McKees Rocks, PA and his
dad was mail carrier then which put a roof over little Johnny's head and food on his plate so for Kasich to now
join in and help out in nothing more than union busting in Ohio stinks of hypocrisy.
