There's no shortage of budget-cutting conservatives in DC these days, looking for government programs and agencies that are, literally, more trouble than they are worth. Well I have the Mother of All honey holes for them; government programs for which we shell out no less than $80 billion a year -- but who still can't get their primary mission accomplished.

Eighty billion bucks is a lot dough, and should be Target No. I for those on the hunt for government "waste, fraud and abuse." I am, of course referring to our "seldom right, but never in doubt," alphabet soup list of intelligence agencies, beginning with the CIA.

Come on dudes -- just how many times do these folks have to "not see it coming," or see things coming that aren't even there, before we cut their allowances? If these guys were surgeons they'd be spending 99% of their time in court defending themselves for malpractice.
