If you are not moved by this, something is wrong or dead inside of you. Fuck Mubarak and Mubarak apologists.

@sharifkouddous: Ppl are sleeping curled next to each other. Heads on laps. When alarms sound they run to protect entrances. They wait patiently. #Egypt

sharifkouddous: People are being rounded up. Reports of 20+ ppl detained from rights groups like El Baradei's, Hisham Mubarak's, Amnesty, HRW... #Egypt

People have routed power from the street lights and are charging their cell phones in Tahrir #Egypt

3. That one should ring out loud across the US:
"Dear US government: We don't hate you because we hate your freedom; we hate you because you hate our freedom."

Well said and to the point. The spin was just unspun.

5. I hope that our government does the right thing
but Obama seems always to side with the dark side and not the side of good. If he does so in this situation, then he surely is souless.

8. Is there a website up where we can leave messages of appreciation to them?
Like there have been for other things?

I realize that a lot of people are tweeting, but for those of us who can't, is there somewhere to leave messages of caring?

I checked today to see if there is an Egyptian embassy nearby, cuz I would have gone to protest, but there isn't.

15. Dear Egyptians: Don't we know it. The US government hates our freedom too.
And they give all our wealth and the fruits of our labor to banks and corporations, and a small part of that money even makes it to your dictator. Sorry about that. We tried to do something about it through peaceful elections in 2008, but the guy was pretty much pulling our leg--he was just another company man telling us what we needed to hear so that we wouldn't revolt like you all are. Now we're really confused and disorganized and there's not much hope for change in the forseeable future. Maybe someday we'll have the courage you folks have. But we have a huge problem with reactionary thugs--like your paid-off pro-Mubarak supporters. We've got whole 24/7 news channels devoted to psychologically developing these thugs. And with so many of the global elites living in our country, the reactionary thugs really think they have a shot at getting some money and contracts out of these evil, freedom-hating bastards.

Anyway... SOLIDARITY! You give us hope.

16. beautifully written! I wish there was a website "bulletin board" for us to express our thoughts
of support and caring..... just like what you have written.

Kinda like that website after the election of '04... "We ARe Sorry"

I understand there are facebook places to put thoughts like what you have written, and I hope you can do that.

I so much want to let the protesters know how much I respect and admire them!
