Debt-ridden GOP raises money on new Reagan website - The irony
http://content.usatoday.com/communities/onpolitics/post/2011/02/gop-debt-ronald-reagan-/1

Feb 01, 2011

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus has vowed the GOP will reduce its $23 million debt through a lot of hard work -- and Ronald Reagan is doing his part.

The RNC has established a website to honor the late president and mark the 100th anniversary of his birth (on Sunday, Feb. 6). The website comes complete with an online store where a new Reagan commemorative will go on sale each month.

Priebus and the committee sent out a fundraising letter highlighting the new website, along with a pitch for suggested donations of $25, $50, $100 or more.

2. someone gave around 15 million to rebuild the school he went to in dixon
the school has been completely restored from the ground up. many of the rooms have been restored to classroom ready. there`s also a museum and gift shop. so never underestimate the money that can be raised by invoking the name of ronnie reagan.

i went to the school from kinder to 6th grade. it is one of those built with marble stairs and floors. it`s a great building.
