Sir, I hope ALL democrats and some truly patriotic Republicans support your re-election, because the other option spells instant doom for America. Frankly I haven't been totally pleased with all your decisions. But I understand that you must keep trying to cross party lines to save what's left of the American dream.
The wars are destroying America and creating domestic and foreign terrorism, as you well know. The wars are also annihilating our economy. And I will never support wars where American troops and innocent foreigners are dying in epic proportions. You need to end these wars before they destroy all that we cherish.
It may not be important to all Americans, but these things matter to me: I am concerned about a poor ethnically challenged woman with three children and two jobs that don't support her family. I care about homeless people who are starving and have lost hope. I wish that no child in the world will starve to death or be raped tonight, as a result of war; but I know that's not possible and it's out of our control.
While I believe that many of your choices in military generals are poor choices, I support your decision to give general Alexander more power and responsibility. That decision was not only necessary in today's information age but also prudent.
Our troops are paying a high price for corporate profits. I know that you realize how important it is to save main street, instead of Wall Street, so it's time to move in that direction before we're all starving in the streets.
