I hope these "winds of change" blow into Saudi Arabia.
The House of Saud needs to fall.

it is expected to move north from Yemen... and of course to Syria too.

4. The biggest complaint is food price inflation in these countries...due to our QE "hot money".

I had only thought of QE as hurting us, but you're right, it does screw over a lot of the rest of the world, too.

6. Won't happen
There are far fewer people in Saudi Arabia, and far more revenue from oil to spread around. All Egypt has is tourism (about to take a major hit), tolls from the Suez Canal, and "pay us not to invade Israel" protection money to be distributed to about 80 million people.

Oil shock and skyrocketing gas prices would certainly send us back into another massive recession.

Just little unimportant details to consider....
