Swiffer ads?
Does anyone understand why Swiffer ads pretends that you are worried about your broom if you use a Swiffer, but it's okay because your broom finds your rake sexy?

Both parts of that seem bizarre to me.

How that is supposed to sell swiffers is beyond me, but I guess it does because Swiffer commercials have been using a similar premise for a long time.

BTW, doesn't that mean that whoever uses the broom now is the broom's current love interest, and is replaceably by a rake?

That is seriously messed up!
