I have no doubt Moyers committed huge and terrible sins in public life, just like everyone else in public life.

But, since I have been watching Bill Moyers Journal and Moyers and Company, I have been nothing but impressed with this integrity and his treatment of every issue, every guest and every well-thought out viewpoint with the utmost of respect.

His show is one of the best things on television today by far. (I had started that sentence with "IMO" and deleted.)

1. Why would the President allow

this media consolidation?

This is another Obama mystery.

Media consolidation needs to go in the reverse direction. Most of what is wrong with the nation can be traced to media consolidation. My local Fox and ABC affiliates are indistinguishable. And my NPR station spews steady radical right wing ideology. One would think that nearly all the media towing the right wing message would be enough. But apparently they want it all.
