Republican Simpson and Democrat Bowles attack Dem, endorse her Teabagger opponent.
They ran a full page ad in three New Hampshire newspapers attacking Annie Kuster for saying she would not cut Social Security.

They seem to have a war chest of over $25 million, but no one calls this class warfare.

1. This disgusts me.
Social security and medicare are under attack from all sides. And there is absolutely no more efficient way to provide for seniors and the disabled. If they removed the fraud from medicare that is. Cheers to candidate Kuster.

2. I agree! She gets my congrats for not giving in to their demands.
it's sad that there are even calls within our party to tweak SS. I guess I'm too progressive in thinking the extreme rich, whose bank accounts just grow and grow into the hundreds of millions and billions need to pay a few more percentage in taxes. It's amazing what the super rich USED to pay for most of our nation's history.

There was also

Miners then.

Miners 2012

http://www.stamfordadvocate.com/news/article/SAfrica-Media-reports-undermine-miners-claim-3840370.php

And so on.

The more things change, the more the greedy stay the same--forever willing to kill or maim workers rather than pay them a little more, with help from government and media.

But no one called it warfare until the 99% began some timid complaints and a modest tax increase was suggested. A modest tax increase = warfare.

Speaking of which, what on earth or in hell is it with America and her fake wars anyway?

War on Drugs (because we apparently learned nothing at all from repeal of Prohibition), War on Poverty, and the stupidist of all, War on "Terror." ( Good luck with them all, especially the war on an emotion with which our species is born-fear.

I just can't wait until drugs, poverty and fear surrender to the United States, can you? The world will be ever so much nicer without them.
