No Kennedy in either house of Congress right now, but here's wishing luck to Joe Kennedy III.
After the census, Massachusetts's districts had to be re-drawn, as happened in many states.

The re-drawing of the district currently represented by Barney Frank caused Barney to decide to retire, rather than start introducing himself to a bunch of new voters. Joseph P. Kennedy III, son of Joe, Jr. and grandson of the assassinated Robert Kennedy, is running. Needless to say, I hope he wins the primary today. He will have stiff competition in the general, I'm sure, he will have to fight koch money.

The Kochs' and their servants, the Republican Party, went so all out to put a Republican in Ted Kennedy's seat. I cannot imagine but that they will also have a bead on Joe III. I hope, too, that he stays out of small planes.

Anyway, here's the story on his race and other Massachusetts districts, if you are interested. http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2012/09/06/candidates_vie_in_redrawn_massachusetts_districts/

BTW, Ted Kennedy's sons were downright fantastic on Chuck (ugh) Todd's show this morning.

Ted Jr. looks more like his dad than ever. (He is an amputee and working as a disability lawyer and advocate.)

3. Well, more than half of the country, anyway. Republicans hate Kennedys like
nobody's business.
