Joe Lieberman's middle name
Edited on Sun Nov-27-11 01:30 AM by Tx4obama

In today's crossword puzzle in the newspaper the clue for #1 down was: Joe Lieberman's middle name

I thought that was the strangest clue ever.

I know most of the U.S. Senators' first and last names but not the majority of their middle names.

I looked up Lieberman on Wikipedia and his middle name is: Isadore

I'm wondering why the hell they would have even put that in the crossword puzzle, what was their purpose behind it?

Very strange!

6. I think they put it in there to make fun of him and his middle name.

There was absolutely no reason to compose the puzzle in a way that they would have to include a clue that 99.999999% of the folks wouldn't know the answer to - other than to be snarky.

13. LOL, well if there is a puzzle conspiracy - it would be more fun than ...
some of the other conspiracies that have been debunked but still won't go away :)

15. The intended response was Isadork,
but the creator of the crossword puzzle screwed up. Either response would still refer to Lieberman though.
