UPD: Man takes girlfriend out for night, refuses to pay limousine bill


UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica man is facing charges after police say he hired a limousine driver and refused to pay his bill after the service.

According to the Utica Police Department, 19-year-old Zachary Jordan hired a driver for the night on Wednesday.

On the evening of November 23, 2011, Utica Police responded to 900 Kellogg Avenue regarding a theft of service complaint. The limo driver drove Jordan and his girlfriend to various places during the course of the night, including Olive Garden in Syracuse.

Police say that after dinner, Jordan asked the driver to some borrow money to pay the restaurant bill. The driver paid the restaurant bill and took Jordan and his girlfriend back home to Utica, where he didn't have the money to pay for the limousine services, totalling $850.00.

Well, why does it matter? The limo driver could have been a person barely scrapping buy. But, but, the person owned a limo. Ever heard of renting stuff to make income. Because the douche did not pay the bill that he ran up, not the limo driver may be in a big hole that could end with the driver's family being out on the street. Maybe the man that ripped off the driver should have shot a BB at a squirrel, that would have gotten your dander up and had you posting his mugshot virally all over the web. Or maybe he should have said something good about President Obama while ripping off the driver, many on DU would hung him for that offense.
