Career politicians are the root cause of EVERY problem the US faces today.
I don't care which side of the aisle they sit on; career politicians are pigs who eat at the public trough and value no ones future more than their own.

Here's a challenge: Prove me wrong about YOUR elected representative by listing here the legislation they've sponsored (the legislation with THEIR name on it) and whether or not it passed.

Fuck them all. They need to go.

7. If the politicians weren't corruptible
the money wouldn't be a problem. Money in and of itself is not bad. When it can be used to buy a politician off the money isn't to blame, the politician is.

The root cause is an apathetic electorate that wanted to "trust" its elected leaders. If people pay attention, it's a lot harder to pull this stuff off than with just soundbites and dyed hair.
