PRIORITIES and what's fair?
Unlimited profit and wealth doesn't seem sustainable or humane, imho. Of course, this statement is met (even on sites such as DU) with cries of socialism and "who are you to limit anyone's success or judge what they're worth?!"

I don't have the answers, but I do feel it's worth discussing. It speaks to our priorities as a society.

I don't know what my cut-off is, but I do know we see too many examples of obscene wealth, at the expense of others who work very hard, or have worked very hard their entire lives.

Shouldn't we be able to discuss what our priorities are without right-wing cries of "socialist!!!!"?

:hi:

Offered for your consideration:

5. Needs vs. Wants
The Needs of the 99% versus the Wants of the 1%.

Republicans simply don't care how many Americans may suffer and die because of their actions to protect the insatiable greed of a tiny minority. I've never seen anything so fucked up.
