Wisconsin: Kochs buy more than half million bucks worth of pro-Walker TeeVee ads
http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/134137423.html

..snip..

Just days after opponents of Gov. Scott Walker launched their effort this to try to recall him from office, two conservative groups have bought more than $500,000 worth of TV time to begin airing a commercial supporting Walker's budget proposals.

The 60-second ad - which is being paid for by the Americans for Prosperity Foundation and the MacIver Institute - has begun airing in Milwaukee, Green Bay, La Crosse and Wausau. It features several individuals praising the budget plan for balancing the state's books without massive layoffs or increased taxes. The TV spot does not mention Walker by name.

"Americans for Prosperity Foundation has actually purchased over $500,000 in ads to educate folks on the effects the budget reforms," said Matt Seaholm, executive director of the state chapter of Americans for Prosperity.

Seaholm said the commercial doesn't name Walker "because this is part of our educational efforts about the policies included in the budget reforms and not any person or persons involved."

..end..

We will recall that Koch sucker regardless.

3. More bang for the buck with a viral video
Maybe the "Leave Britney Aloooone!" guy will film one? He'll probably go for a lot less than five hundred grand.

How do these fools and their money ever get together in the first place?

5. You know, the teevee stations could reject these ads
much as WFAA, Dallas-Fort Worth's news leader :-) , has repeatedly done with the pro-Mark Cuban ads from Stephen Colbert's SuperPAC, Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow.

But I guess they're just in it for the $$$. :eyes:
